Payroll

UCPath is the University's system-wide payroll system

UCSF employees use UCPath to: 

• View and make changes to tax withholding allowances, health and welfare benefits, and personal contact information 
•  View and print earnings statements and W-2s for earnings issued on or after June 1, 2020 

The Dean's Office uses UCPath to process payroll transactions: 

• Funding Entry (FE) – funding distribution for new employees or funding changes for existing employees 
• Salary Cost Transfer (SCT) – correction of actual historical payroll expenses
