One-year research and shared-equipment grants are awarded by the Dean from endowment funds given to the School of Medicine.

Applications are now submitted through the Research Allocation Program (RAP). Please visit the RAP website for more information about the application process.

The Research Evaluation and Allocation Committee (REAC) will fund research applications for a one-year period for pilot projects, hardship supplements, shared instrument proposals and support of other research important to this campus. At the recommendation of this committee, the dean will make awards from endowment funds donated for medical research. The committee encourages new and junior faculty to apply who have achieved independent status and who show need for funds to initiate and develop their own research before extramural support is available.
