Stephanie Belger
Director, Strategic Initiatives
Stephanie leads the planning and implementation of a specific short- and long-term School of Medicine strategic initiatives. She provides strategic leadership by designing, implementing and managing complex programs spanning across departments and the university. Her specific projects and programs include Differences Matter; the SOM Strategic Plan; annual Leadership Retreat and other SOM events; faculty and leadership driven initiatives; and faculty and staff awards.

Karen Forte

Executive Assistant to Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr.
Karen manages the schedule for Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr., including travel, and assists the dean with day-to-day prioritization and execution of activities and meetings.

Office Manager for the Dean's Office Management Unit
Frances serves as the front desk office manager and is responsible for reception coverage and overall office management. She supports the School of Medicine Space team, manages request for the dean's signature and provides calendar support for Chief of Staff Olivia Herbert.

deborah reiter Deborah Reiter
Administrative Director, Management Unit
Deborah is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Management Unit and is involved in many of the ongoing projects and tasks for the department and the School. She staffs School of Medicine committees, manages the Endowed Chairs process for the School, coordinates searches conducted by the Dean's Office for Chair and Director positions, vets requests for the dean's signature and manages the signature request process. If she doesn’t know the answer, she’ll know who to ask!

Karin Wong
Director, Space Strategy
Karin directs space management and works with Vice Dean Bruce Wintroub, Associate Dean Bonnie Maler, and the UCSF Space Committee.
