Stephanie leads the planning and implementation of a specific short- and long-term School of Medicine faculty and staff engagement projects and other strategic initiatives mandated by the dean. She provides strategic leadership by designing program plans, implementing and managing complex programs spanning across departments, campuses and the university. Her specific projects and programs include the SOM Leadership Retreat and other SOM events; faculty and leadership driven initiatives that stem from the Leadership Retreat; staff and faculty development programs; and faculty and staff awards.

Steaven Campbell
Executive Assistant to the Vice Dean for Administration and Finance, Maye Chrisman
Steaven coordinates scheduling, special projects and communications for the Vice Dean for Administration and Finance, Maye Chrisman. Steaven also supports several campus-wide meetings including the School of Medicine Managers meetings, the Department Managers Advisory Committee and the Budget and Finance Committee. In addition, Steaven manages the scheduling of the annual Consolidated Budget meetings across campus.

Office Manager for the Dean’s Office Management Unit
Pamela serves as the front desk office manager and is responsible for reception coverage and overall office management, including office equipment and supplies, kitchen supplies and all facilities issues. She coordinates emergency preparedness for the Management Unit and staffs the School of Medicine Space Committee.

Executive Assistant to Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr.
Karen manages the schedule for Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr., including travel, and assists the dean with day-to-day prioritization and execution of activities and meetings.

Executive Assistant to Keith R. Yamamoto, Vice Chancellor for Science Policy and Strategy and Vice Dean for Research in the School of Medicine
Angela manages special projects, communications, and scheduling for Keith R. Yamamoto, Vice Chancellor for Science Policy and Strategy and Vice Dean for Research in the School of Medicine. She also works closely with India Hook-Barnard, Director for Research Strategy.

Project Manager and Program Coordinator
Courtney provides management and support for programs in the School of Medicine Dean's Office and Vice Chancellor Office of Science Policy and Strategy. She works closely with Keith R. Yamamoto, Vice Chancellor for Science Policy and Strategy and Vice Dean for Research in the School of Medicine, and India Hook-Barnard, Director for Research Strategy and Associate Director of Precision Medicine.

Affiliation, Outreach and Compliance Coordinator
Renée is responsible for analysis of all academic and clinical affiliation agreements submitted to Vice Dean Neal Cohen for approval as well as managing and coordinating the campus approval process with the departments, the Dean’s Office and the appropriate campus constituents. She is also responsible for conducting health sciences compensation plan compliance evaluations and reviews as well as the management of special projects related to compliance reviews under the purview of the vice dean. She also manages Dr. Cohen’s calendar.

morrison Cristina Morrison
Manager, Change Management and Facilities
Cristina works with Vice Dean Bruce Wintroub, Associate Dean Bonnie Maler and Director Karin Wong on projects related to space, including space management, space planning and campus wide communications about upcoming projects. She works closely with departments moving to new buildings, leads trainings, manages the UCSF space website and provides ongoing and timely communications regarding major projects at all campus sites.
She is sometimes referred to as the 'Space Queen' and will do what she can to direct inquiries to the right person!

Director, Communications
Sarah oversees communications on behalf of the dean and across the school. She works closely with the dean on communications to the school or other audiences. She serves as the senior editor for the school website, social media and other online platforms. She collaborates with University Relations on external communications and serves as an advisor to numerous groups and committees on campus. Among her current projects is a campus-wide internal communications initiative to eliminate unnecessary mass email. Sarah also founded and heads the UCSF Communicators Network.

reiter Deborah Reiter
Administrative Director, Management Unit
Deborah is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Management Unit and is involved in many of the ongoing projects and tasks for the department and the School. She staffs School of Medicine committees, manages the Endowed Chairs process for the School, coordinates searches conducted by the Dean's Office for Chair and Director positions, vets requests for the dean's signature and manages the signature request process. If she doesn’t know the answer, she’ll know who to ask!

Director, Space Strategy
Karin directs space management and works with Vice Dean Bruce Wintroub, Associate Dean Bonnie Maler, Cristina Morrison and the UCSF Space Committee.


Communications Manager
Shelley works with Director of Communications Sarah Paris to manage web, email, print and multimedia communications and projects on behalf of the dean and across the school. She writes and maintains content for the School of Medicine website, News Links e-newsletter, Twitter, and Facebook. In addition, she coordinates the Communicators Chatter group and website, a campus-wide networking group for staff involved in communications.
