1. Announcements:
   • We introduced the "Announcements" area of the WebResources site. After we have disseminated important announcements via our normal channels, we will post them here as a reference source and as an archive.
   • Update on server cleanup. We have identified over 2000 files for removal! Thank you for helping us on this project. We have removed the files from staging. It is now imperative that you check your sites on staging for broken links so they will not be carried over to the live site when we delete those files from production on 11/7/03.
   • Please update your A-Z listings. Many listings still show Jill Garland as the "owner" or have the outdated URL's. Please go to the UCSF Public Affairs site to update them. Please check this document to see if your site is one of those sites which needs to be updated. For an explanation on how to do so please see the tutorial on this subject.
   • New Tutorials: We have added and updated several new tutorials. They are listed in the Webresources site.

3. Tutorial Review:
   • A Guide to Font Formatting. Please check this tutorial as you format your pages for information on the correct use of the various CSS styles.
   • Running Xenu. Please check this tutorial for information on checking your site for links. This is especially important now that we have cleaned the orphans from Production. Please run Xenu over your sites for broken links.
