HTML Basics

1. Announcements:
• There will be no meeting in May. Valentina will be at training.
• Our printer friendly function is ready to be deployed. It will be available on all pages, but you can suppress it on any given page by adding <!--pfoverride--> to the bottom of the main content area. We will review this again in next month's meeting.
  
  
2. Presentation:
• At this meeting we reviewed the basics of HTML since it is the foundation of our pages. There is are a lot of good tutorials and information on the web. In particular, WebMonkey has a lot of good instructional materials, including but not limited to HTML. Their tutorial entitled Intro to HTML contains an interactive feature whereby you can practice your HTML code on the fly. WebMonkey also has a useful "HTML Cheatsheet".
