1. Announcements:
• We have implemented the new LeftHandNavs. The add greatly to the impact of Cynthia's design.
• We are continuing to work on the printer friendly pages.
• Beth asked for volunteers to help her with usability testing on Thursday 2/12 and Friday 2/13.
  
  
2. Presentation:
• Tara Marchand of the Office of Educational Technology presented on using Photo Editor which comes bundled with Microsoft Office products. She demonstrated cropping, resizing and compressing images. Follow this link to view her presentation notes.
• Suzanne Ezrre mentioned that many software programs including image editors are available very cheaply through The Technology Resource Center here at UCSF.
• Valentina reviewed new library items and pages. You now have available to you several new graphic images, a new table which allows for a subheader row, a preformatted photo album, frequently asked questions page, and two bios pages. They are to be found in your libraries. Your libraries are located in /templates/. Please contact Valentina for assistance in using those item.s
