- Announcements:
- Our next meeting will be hosted by Beth and Cynthia. They would like to
help you review your websites goals. It will not be held at the Faculty
Alumni House but probably outdoors, somewhere nice!
- We are proud to announce that we have instituted many of the special features
which you have requested, including an image bank, a form engine and printer
freindly pages.
- Our new 'Printer Freindly' function is now in place. You may suppress
it on any page by adding <!--pfoverride--> (exactly as you see it
here) to the bottom of the main content area. I have created a tutorial
on the printer-freindly function which may be found in the tutorials
section of the our website.
- The URL of the WebUpdate Tool has changed. It will now reside at http://tools.medschool.ucsf.edu/webupdate/.
This new URL will soon host several web tools in addition to the Web Update
Tool. (We will keep a redirect at the old URL for a while, but please update
your book marks.)
- Our engineer, Eduardo Ballesteros, has created a Form Engine. It allows
us (Beth and Valentina) to create forms on the fly. The results are then
tabulated in Excel and/or in a database. Please let us know if you would
like us to create a form for your site.
- Presentation:
- Cynthia Milionis will show us how to use the School of Medicine's new
Image Bank. She will describe, size and weight and other requirements. She
will tell us of other sources for images and will breifly review optimizing
with image editor.
