Teaching Scholars Program

Tracy Minichiello, MD, (TSP 2001-2002) is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF, where she serves as Associate Program Director for UCSF's Categorical Internal Medicine Residency. In this role, Dr. Minichiello has played a lead role in developing program-wide curricular projects, including implementation of a new curriculum on hospital medicine, redesigning the format and content adopted by the house staff journal club, and establishing a formal mentoring program. Dr. Minichiello is a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee and plays an active role in the Residency Advisory and Curricular Committee. She serves as elected faculty advisor to UCSF's resident-run "Women in Medicine" group. Dr. Minichiello completed her undergraduate education at the University of Vermont, received her MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and completed her residency and chief residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
