Ivy Darden, MD is associate program director for UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine Medical Education Program. She is boarded in Critical Care Medicine in addition to Internal Medicine. She has 12 years of experience teaching ward and ICU medicine to Internal Medicine residents as well as four years' experience as a hospitalist in private practice. As the associate program director, she has been responsible for recruitment, advising residents, and schedules. She has an interest in Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and has taught the Internal Medicine EBM course for the last five years. She has recently been appointed as division chair for General Internal Medicine at UCSF Fresno. She received her MD degree at UCLA after completing a BS in biochemistry at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
