Steven Polevoi, MD (TSP 2006-2007) is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology at UC Berkeley and medical training at the UCLA School of Medicine. His training in Emergency Medicine was completed at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has acted as the Quality Improvement representative at UCSF Hospital Emergency Departments for more than ten years. Steven also acts as the Supervisor of Mid-Level Providers in the UCSF Emergency Department. He teaches the Physical Exam Skills component of the Foundations of Patient Care course in the School of Medicine. His research interests include diagnostic errors and access issues in the Emergency Department.
