UCSF School of Nursing Alumni Association

The mission of the UCSF School of Nursing Alumni Association (AAUCSF) is to promote among its membership a lifelong interest in the welfare of the UCSF School of Nursing and develop mutually beneficial relationships and networks between the UCSF School of Nursing and its alumni, faculty, nursing students, administration and the AAUCSF. The association is committed to encouraging collegial relationships from the beginning of the student experience across the spectrum of the professional career.

The association promotes and supports the School of Nursing through services, contributions and recognition of distinguished alumni. It awards yearly scholarships to students and has established the Nursing Alumni and Mary Harms Endowed Chair, the Nursing Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund, and the Nursing Alumni Association Endowed Chair Support Fund.

The association supports fellowship among its members through sponsorship of the annual Alumni Day celebration. It holds an annual pizza social to welcome new students, and facilitates networking, meetings and special reunions for alumni by maintaining an address database of graduates.

Membership is open to all graduates of the School of Nursing, with associate memberships available to current faculty who are graduates of other schools. The association is affiliated with the campus-wide Alumni Association of the University of California, San Francisco.
