Build the School's Network – and Yours

As a UCSF graduate, you are among the best educated and brightest in the nursing profession. Why not share some of your expertise, experience and wisdom with students?

The Nursing Alumni Association and Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) are recruiting alumni volunteers for a new networking program, which will be the first of its kind at UCSF. Scheduled to launch in early 2009, the School of Nursing Alumni Career Network aims to help students establish meaningful connections, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.

As an Alumni Career Network volunteer, you can determine your level of involvement and choose from a variety of ways to participate: informational interviews, on-campus career panels, job shadowing, recruitment and as a relocation resource.

To sign up all you need to do is complete a short online form. Your personal information will remain in a secured database accessible only by OCPD. Students must contact an OCPD career counselor and go through an orientation before connecting with Network members.

If you are interested in volunteering for the School of Nursing Alumni Career Network complete our online form.
