Medical Student Well-Being Program

The Well-Being Team
From left to right, Dr. Juli Fraga, Dr. Rebecca Watters, and Dr. Rachel Goldstone.

The goal of the Medical Student Well-Being Program is to promote a healthier learning environment at UCSF and to assist students with a broad range of difficulties that arise during their medical education.

The Well-Being program staff is constantly looking for new ways to promote the well-being of medical students, and we are always interested in your suggestions.

Services and programs we provide include counseling, Partners in Medicine, On Doctoring and D-stress Rounds.

We also organize seminars and presentations in response to student feedback on topics such as coping with death and dying, talking about diversity issues, and dealing with Board exams. We provide consultation to medical students, house staff and faculty on issues pertaining to medical student well-being.

If you'd like, we can also help you find other well-being resources, both on campus and in the community.
