Funds for Conferences and Travel
The Office of Student Affairs offers conference and related travel funds in the form of a one-time, $500 maximum reimbursement.

Scholarships/Awards
Via messages on the class listservs, announcements on the Med Student Portal, and flyers on the bulletin board in the Student Lounge, our office publicizes scholarships and awards that are available to medical students. Student Financial Services publicizes schoolwide scholarship opportunities.

Contact Katie Morris, if you need to request a dean's letter of recommendation as part of your application. Please allow a two-week turnaround time for your request. Fill out this letter of support request form and bring it to S-245 or fax it to Katie Morris at 415-502-1320.

Student Outreach Project Funding
School of Medicine student groups or organizations may apply for funding from the Office of Outreach and Academic Advancement (OAA) for specific outreach project support.

ASSM Funding Request
Money from the Associated Students of the School of Medicine (ASSM) is set aside to fund community service and outreach events, and to support student-run electives.

Emergency Loans
Emergency loans are available through Student Financial Services in Millberry Union West, Room 201.
