The Barnett-Briggs Medical Library provides responsive, high-quality, and effective access to the library's materials and resources. Library programs and services are designed to support patient care, education, research, management and specialized services available at the San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center.

The library is open seven days a week, with posted hours. The library is closed on University (UCSF) holidays. Holiday closings will be posted at the Library's entrance.
