Working for San Francisco's Future

The San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center attracts some of the nation's top graduate medical students for residency and fellowship programs ranging from family and community medicine to trauma surgery, psychiatry and pediatrics. In addition, many of San Francisco's public health clinics are run by physicians who trained at SFGH.

On any given day, about one-third of all UCSF residents and fellows – more than 200 physicians – are working and training at SFGH.
