3. What common variations exist in this career after training?
Many opportunities - subspecialty training in gyn onc, reproductive endocrin
and infertility and perinatology. clinical practice, HMO, academics and
nontraditional fellowships - urogynecology, family planning, epidemiology.
4. What is a typical work day for you (or someone else representative)?
Long!
5. What is the "culture" of this career? Sensitive

different for men and women? Can be difficult depending on call schedule
but definitely workable.

a.Extra-curricular/volunteer work? helpful - particularly showing
committment to women's health

d. AOA? varies per school as to how much emphasis placed on AOA

are different than for 3rd yr.
