Data Reporting

Data Reporting Services

OET provides data to meet the needs of Dean’s Office staff, departmental faculty and administrators, students, UCSF administration, national governing agencies, and others. All data requests should be made using the Educational Data/Report Request Form.

  • Ad-hoc reporting
  • Rosters/lists of medical students for enrollment in disparate student data systems related to the UCSF curriculum
  • Educational Data for research studies by faculty, staff and students. In most cases, release of these data require CHR-approved projects.
  • Data design and consultation

Where is Educational Data?

There are dozens of sources educational data in the School of Medicine. While some are integrated, many are stand-alone systems that must be kept coordinated with manual processes. OET is charged with identifying and managing these disparate sources, as well as protecting the security of sensitive information.

ISIS (Integrated Student Information System)

ISIS is the School of Medicine’s Integrated Student Information System. Version 1 was launched in 2006 and allows medical education faculty members and staff to access student contact information, program information and photographs. For information about ISIS contact Bonnie Hellevig at bonnie.hellevig@ucsf.edu.
