ANNOUNCEMENTS

Are you coping with your inbox or losing the battle? Share your thoughts on UCSF’s internal mass email in a short survey (faculty version; staff version) by 11/6 as part of the Smart Mail initiative.

Support change through Differences Matter: the School of Medicine seeks faculty and staff who would like to serve as Dean’s Diversity Leaders and chair action groups for six focus areas. This multiyear initiative will provide leadership and resources to ensure that we are a truly inclusive and equitable community.

Submit your faculty and staff nominations for the Holly Smith Awards for Exceptional Service to the School of Medicine by 11/23.

Enrollment is filling up for the November 2015 group sessions for the Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center. The clinic offers 4 consecutive, weekly two-hour sessions (5:30-7:30pm) covering smoking and health, addiction and strategies for quitting.

Starting 11/2, take the Library survey to share feedback and ideas.

For staff: There is a new UCSF Event Planning Network Chatter group. This is an open forum for staff and faculty involved in planning events to share knowledge and resources.
