PRIME-US is a new five year track for medical students interested in working with the urban underserved. Last year, PRIME-US was successfully piloted and is now an official part of a larger, statewide initiative to increase the number of physicians working to improve the health of vulnerable communities.

"Be Inspired" -- What the students say about PRIME-US

PRIME-US is expanding the traditional class size of the School of Medicine for the first time since the early eighties by welcoming twelve new students to the program this year (in addition to the ten pilot students).
