The City & County of San Francisco and UCSF have been partners in providing health care to the city’s sick and injured since 1873. UCSF School of Medicine faculty at SFGH care for all who need medical services, ranging from newborn infants to trauma victims, children through the elderly. SFGH is also one of UCSF's major clinical training sites.
