The Preterm Birth Initiative (Ob-Gyn and GHS) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the UCSF Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Preterm Birth. The goal is to develop the next generation of transdisciplinary researchers at UCSF focused on decreasing the global burden of prematurity. Papadakis, MD, and Bliss Temple, MD, for the Chancellor Diversity Award for Disability Issues; Carol Miller, MD, Rena J. Pasick, DrPH, and Flora Rutaganira for the Chancellor Diversity Award, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award for Diversity.
National Institutes of Health High-Risk, High-Reward Program Award recipients included Wendell Lim, PhD, and Michael McManus, PhD, for the NIH Director’s Transformative Research Award; Adam Abate, PhD, and Michael Rosenblum, MD, PhD, for the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award; and Robert Judson, PhD, and Glenn-Milos Santos, PhD, for the NIH Director’s Early Independence Award.
Denise Chan, PhD, professor of radiation oncology and radiobiologist, and Allison Doupe, MD, PhD, professor of psychiatry and physiology and director of the UCSF Center for Integrative Neuroscience, have passed away.
