UC San Francisco has launched Inside UCSF, a web portal designed specifically to inform, inspire and engage the internal community. It offers two separate pages for faculty and staff as well as a blog which offers web-based templates for faculty and staff to submit news.

Robert Baron, MD, MS and Daniel West, MD, received the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) The Parker J. Palmer Courage to Lead Award and the Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Award respectively.
Karen Hauer, MD, received an Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Academic Medicine Excellence in Reviewing Award.
Carole Joffe, PhD, was awarded the Society of Family Planning Lifetime Achievement Award.
Yuet Wai Kan, MD, will be honored with the Pioneer Award at the Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) next month.
Marika Russell, MD and Matthew Russell, MD were inducted as new Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
