A goal of the Web Resources Program is to create a unified Web presence for all departments and units within the School of Medicine. Good Web design and standard navigation through multiple sites makes for a very good user experience.

To that end, the WSG has created a series of templates and libraries to help you develop an identity for your site, while maintaining a unified navigation structure that make it easy for the user.

This also helps keep the cost of developing your site low as we can make use these templates and libraries while building your site.

• Nightly backups of your site
• Development workspace for your site where you can make changes and preview before publishing
• Your own sub domain name in the form of yourdeptname.medschool.ucsf.edu
• Use of our templates and libraries
• Use of the Web update tool to update your site
