Stem Cell Research Event

Overview

For a public event on Stem Cell Research, the School of Medicine Dean’s Office needed a site to publicize the event, gauge initial interest, and collect RSVPs.

The Solution

Initially launched in May, the uniquely branded website provided biographies and details about the speakers at the September 20, 2005 event. The site included a form that allowed individuals to express interest in the event and join a mailing list. The event generated so much interest that the Dean’s Office choose three locations for the event, and ISU created a form that allowed individuals to choose between those locations.

Results

• Created a uniquely branded site with bios, mailing list and RSVP form
• Collected over 500 interested individuals for a stem cell mailing list
• In twelve days registered over 400 individuals at three locations
