Parents Workshop at Toland Hall,
Oct 9th.- 5:15pm

On Tuesday, October 9th at 5:15 pm in Toland Hall, Melinda Kanter Levy will present exclusively to UCSF campus parents of small children (Parnassus Campus) everything you need to know about how to get your child ready for school after your child is done with child care and how to then choose private or public school for your family. It's never too late to start this process and prepare for these important transitions.

  • Over 200 parents attended this not to be missed parent education opportunity at Laurel Heights just 2 weeks ago.

Please find flier for upcoming event, also find information on Private vs Public School, SFUSD Enrollment Info and lastly find Guidance with Kindergarten Visits for Parents.

MELINDA KANTER-LEVY is one of the “founding mothers” of Marin Day Schools and the Director of External Affairs for both Marin Day Schools and Bright Horizons. Melinda graduated from New York University with a degree in early childhood education and a specialization in learning disabilities. She taught special education in New York City prior to moving to California. At Marin Day Schools she found her calling working on written materials, kindergarten readiness, children with special needs, fund raising and public relations. Her articles on children, child care, education, and family life are very well known and highly respected. Melinda lives in Marin County with her husband, Roger Levy. They have four adult daughters and 5 “practically perfect” grandchildren.
