Chief Resident Meetings

The Goals of the Chief Resident Workshops and Meetings are:
  • Meet other chief residents to begin the process of community building
  • Understand the varied roles of the Chief Resident across disciplines
  • Engage personal leadership style and how this impacts the CR role
  • Differentiate the responsibilities of leaders vs. managers
  • Identify and intervene on the problem residents using tools available at UCSF
  • Gain understanding of ways in which CR can improve safety and quality of care of patients within their department.
