The mission of the UCSF School of Medicine Office of Communications is threefold:

• Generates print and online publications, events, and other vehicles to inform school faculty, staff, students and others and forge a sense of community among them
• Provides technical expertise to other units of the school and campus in support of their communications projects to both internal and external audiences as they relate to the School of Medicine
• Supports the dean in professional and academic activities as they relate to the goals and objectives of the School of Medicine.
