As of July 2008, the Areas of Concentration program is formally incorporated into the new Pathways to Discovery program. PTD is a longitudinal program in which trainees can pursue their interests in one of five areas relevant to health or health care. The PTD program is available to residents, medical students, fellows, and students from the schools of dentistry, nursing, and pharmacy.
