Membership Application

The Academy inducts new members each year and welcomes inquiries. Please click here for information on eligibility. We encourage prospective applicants to discuss their applications with their Academy department representative.

An application for membership in the Academy consists of the following:
  • Checklist
  • Personal Statement: A discussion of the applicant's educational philosophy, professional development in education, and intended contributions to the Academy and to the School
  • Educator's Portfolio
  • Letter From applicant's Department Chair

Application Process:

1. Send an email of intent to apply to Christine Khuu and connect with an Academy department representative.

2. Review the Educator's Portfolio instructions and make sure you are able to access your E*Value data (click here for tips)

3. Attend the Educator's Portfolio workshop (optional).

4. Submit your application for administrative review: an Academy staff member will advise you if it is incomplete so that you may make changes in time for the deadline.

5. Submit your final application.
