The SOM Travel Award program continues to offer financial support to aid faculty with significant child, elder, or other dependent care responsibilities in support of their career development. The intent of offering the awards is to encourage our faculty to present their current research at professional meetings, engage in networking opportunities, and further interact with their peers. Awards of up to $2000 are granted to faculty who are presenting at meetings to offset dependent care expenses related to their attendance at those conferences.
