School of Medicine Communications The UCSF School of Medicine Office of Communications is charged with distributing information about the school to internal and external audiences and facilitating communications among faculty, staff, trainees and the community. Our office generates or manages:
- The School of Medicine website
- News Links, a monthly e-newsletter distributed to faculty and staff
- Targeted emails to the campus community
- Print publications, such as the school's Facts & Figures
- Staff and faculty events
The office also provides expertise to other units of the school and campus in support of their communications projects, and it supports the deans' academic and outreach activities to promote the goals and objectives of the School of Medicine.

| Stephanie Belger produces events and programs that promote the School of Medicine, its missions, values and goals. She is responsible for the annual School of Medicine leadership retreat, faculty and student receptions, employee appreciation activities and other special events throughout the year. She also manages the annual Holly Smith and Royer awards, two of UCSF’s top honors, and the Dean’s Office Negotiated Restaurants program. |

Doug Levy JD

| Doug Levy serves as chief of the Dean’s Office Executive Staff and is responsible for its budget, personnel and administrative operations. He acts on behalf of the dean on wide range of administrative matters, including expense approvals, emergency operations and planning, and various special projects. In addition, he oversees the School's external and internal communications activities. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. |

Sarah Paris

| Sarah Paris is primarily responsible for internal communications, with the goal of ensuring that the right information reaches the right group. She is the principal editor for the dean's office sections of the School of Medicine website, and she generates the school's monthly e-newsletter News Links, as well as printed publications and displays. She also helps to publicize school events and coordinates the Dean's Communications Advisory Board. |
